Marwynn Holdings estimates $500 million for a proposed AI data center and solar plant in Grenada, according to a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding signed with Grenada National Resort.

The planning figure covers both the solar and data center components, with no set split between them. Marwynn stated the number is an estimate, not a commitment, and actual investment could be lower or different. No power capacity has been disclosed. Final capacity, site configuration and commercial structure will be fixed only after feasibility studies conclude.

Where would the campus be built?

The project, named the NexaCore AI & Renewable Energy Infrastructure Campus, would sit within Grenada National Resort, a luxury tourism and real estate development at Levera on Grenada's northern coast. HSG International — the international spin-off of Sequoia Capital China — is building and managing that development.

Marwynn subsidiary NexaCore Technologies would develop the campus. The company formed NexaCore in April 2026 specifically to build AI data centers.

Under the design, the solar plant would supply the data center directly, paired with battery storage. Surplus power would be sold onto the grid where commercially viable, Marwynn said.

What does the MoU actually commit?

The agreement runs for 24 months, during which the Resort will not negotiate with third parties on a similar project without Marwynn's consent. Either party can terminate on 30 days' notice, and Marwynn can exit immediately if it judges the project not feasible.

The Resort intends to contribute or make land available, but the size and value of that land remain undetermined. Any government approval or incentive stays subject to Grenadian law, and grid interconnection requires the approval of local utilities.

How will Marwynn power and fund it?

CEO Yin Yan framed power supply as the core constraint the deal addresses. "Power supply is the hardest constraint in AI infrastructure. In Grenada, we have a land partner and a site where we can evaluate building generation and computing capacity together, sized to each other from the start," Yin Yan said.

"The MoU gives us 24 months of exclusivity to test that model through land, grid, and connectivity studies before we commit capital," the CEO added.

Marwynn may source GPUs directly or through NexaCore from unnamed technology providers. Financing options include:

  • Project equity
  • Strategic and institutional investors
  • Infrastructure funds
  • Project and equipment financing
  • Capital markets transactions

Following the agreement, NexaCore plans technical, environmental, land and title, energy, connectivity and financial evaluations.

Marwynn is a diversified holding company incorporated in 2024 and headquartered in Irvine, California.

Two years of exclusivity, one estimate, zero committed dollars: the Grenada campus exists today only on paper.
