Silk Cloud plans to offer Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs (graphics processing units) in Georgia in 2027, while UK-based Fuse Energy expects its first 128 Nvidia GPUs online in December 2026.
Silk Cloud sets a 2027 Georgia target
Silk Cloud, a Georgia-based cloud company, subsidiary of Silknet and part of Silk Road Group, will deploy HPE Nvidia HGX B300 systems at its data centers in Georgia. The company targets a 2027 launch, subject to obtaining the “necessary permits.” The GPU count has not been disclosed.
Silknet, a Georgian telecommunications provider, has operated since 2009. It launched Silk Cloud in 2025; the unit provides cybersecurity, cloud systems, data management and artificial intelligence (AI) implementation services to business organizations.
In August 2026, Silknet broke ground on a data center in Tbilisi for Silk Cloud’s use. The facility is set to offer 2 megawatts (MW) of compute capacity and become operational next year.
The data center will sit on Silknet’s national infrastructure, including a fiber backbone extending more than 4,000km (2,485 miles). Cross-border connections reach Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, with onward routes to Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Giorgi Ramishvili, chairman of Silk Road Group, said:
“This investment is the first step in creating capabilities that will help Georgia position itself in the emerging global AI economy and allow it to become part of the infrastructure on which this economy relies.”
David Mamulaishvili, CEO of Silknet, said:
“Georgia should have the opportunity not only to use AI, but also to create it itself. This will contribute to the country’s competitiveness, the pace of innovation and the creation of new business opportunities.
“The introduction of the first Nvidia Blackwell Ultra system in Georgia is part of Silknet’s long-term strategy, which envisages promoting advanced digital and AI development and strengthening the company’s technological capabilities.”
Fuse Energy schedules 128 GPUs for December
Fuse Energy has announced “Fuse Compute,” an AI cloud offering. Earlier in the week, the company said it would deploy Nvidia GPUs in UK data centers that Fuse will host and power. The full-stack energy company says its wider aim is to lower energy costs and increase energy availability.
Fuse wrote on LinkedIn:
“The hardest part of scaling compute today is getting power to the site, which is the part we already do. With 142MW of data center connections in the pipeline across 15 projects, compute is our next step. We have the infrastructure to deliver this to businesses globally.
“Our first 128 Nvidia GPUs are due online in December 2026, followed by 1,024 in Q2 2027.”
Fuse’s website lists 700 kilowatts (kW) of live capacity in December, followed by 3.25MW in Q2 2027. The figure rises to 22MW by Q4 2027 and 116MW in 2028 and beyond.
Like Silk Cloud, Fuse is deploying Nvidia B300 GPUs. It has not disclosed details about the data centers themselves or the companies operating the facilities.
What changes for AI compute buyers?
For Georgia, the planned service would add a domestic Blackwell Ultra offering as Silknet develops a 2MW Tbilisi facility for Silk Cloud, subject to the required permits.
For UK buyers, Fuse’s stated GPU schedule starts with 128 GPUs in December 2026 and lists 1,024 for Q2 2027. Its live-capacity target reaches 22MW by Q4 2027 and 116MW from 2028. The deployment remains less defined: Fuse has not identified facility operators or provided data-center details, and Silk Cloud has not disclosed its GPU count.
